LP Choey was a famous pre-war monk master contemporarily with LP Sook, Wat Makhamthao, Chainart.
LP Choey's parants died when he was 13 years old. Since then he lived with LP Daeng, the abbot of Wat ThaKwai.
When he was 21, he was ordained by LP Daeng. A few years later he made Dhamma journey into jungles and learned ultra Dhamma and incantations with jungle monk masters.
After leaving the jungles and met with LP Sook, Wat MakhamThao. They exchanged Dhamma and incantation knowledge.
LP Choey learned some important incantation from LP Sook.
By LP Choey's broad incantation knowledge, LP Sook recommended Prince Krom Luang Chumporn to learn some branches of incantation from LP Choey.
A PIECE OF DECAYED BEEF Oneday, LP Ploy, the then a novice monk, rowed a boat for LP Choey. A smoke cloud unexpectedly happened on the center of the boat.
LP Choey immediately told LP Ploy - no move, be calm and quiet. LP Choey blew an incantation current directly to the smoke.
It's became a big piece of decayed beef with worms in it and gradually became a piece of flesh and bone of dead person.
"A black magic practicer wanted to kill me by luanching the dead flesh and bone to embed in my body, but it didn't work", said LP Choey.
A SHEET OF BUFFALO SKIN One night in Wat ThaKwai temple, LP Choey announced to all monks in the temple to stay in their places - not going out.
At mid night, an object unexpectedly dropped on the floor of his Guti (monk house). It's a big piece of buffalo skin, but gradually shrank to a small piece of around 1 inch square.
"It's the same person as previous time did it. We Buddhist monks must do no revenge, so the piece of buffalo skin will be returned to him. We just make a return, nothing more than that", said LP Choey.
The next morning a man with a long beard and moustache was crawling in and stop in front of LP Choey's Guti, he prostrated and begged for life,
"Luang Phor please help me, I am going to die."
"What happened to you", LP Choey asked.
"I chanted a piece of buffalo skin to kill you by pushing it with Mantra to embed in your belly, but it didn't work and returned to my belly stead. It's becoming bigger an bigger. My belly is going to blast off."
"It's a great sin to kill a monk, but Buddhist monks always have mercy. I will help save your life, but all your black magic knowledge will be removed. Do you agree with this", LP Choey asked the man.
"I agree with this, please help me quickly I am going to die"
"All right, raise your hands up, clasp them together and say the Katha after me"
The man followed LP Choey's suggestion and LP Choey was splashing holy water onto the man's body.
The man was shivering for a while and stopped.
"Now, all your black magics were totally removed, you are not able to do the evil things to people any more", LP Choey told the man.
The man stayed with LP Choey for while and requested for ordination.
After a three-month learning for monk Dhamma practice from LP Choey, the novice monk left the temple to the western deep jungle and never came out any more.
LP Choey passed away in B.E. 2469 at the age of 57.
